Thoughts to consider: The church has always been called to meet the needs of others, especially those in need within the body of believers. However, in today's culture, needs are often missed because they are not often spoken. Question: How can a need be met if it is not shared? As with the disciples in our reading today, many needs get overlooked. Most of the time it is because they are not spoken, yet other times it is because so many needs are out there, that they get lost in the shuffle. So how do we know when there is a need? Instead of waiting to be asked, let's ask around. There are needs in our church family, both local and abroad. We can find them by asking and by paying attention around us. What do people come to you for the most? How many times have you helped someone in a simple way? Are there others with the same need? What are the primary needs you see within Hope Church? Find a need, and meet it!
