Thoughts to consider: Spiritual gifts point to two important truths at the same time - unity and diversity. There are different gifts (diversity), but it is the same God (unity) who utilizes them for his purpose. Through us, for others. These gifts are given to us by God to do His work, not our own. In fact, as you read today's passages, be sure and notice how strongly it directs us toward using this great variety of gifts for one single, God-appointed purpose. When on this journey, ask yourself, When was the last time I felt the healthiest and closest to God? I bet you will find that was a time you were using your spiritual gifts and using them for others.
