Thoughts to consider: For a lot of people, when they hear the word faith, the words confidence and assurance are not generally among likely synonyms thought of. Many people don’t consider faith to be confident and assured; it often feels more uncertain and unreal, maybe even imaginary. But biblical faith is the confident assurance that God will do what He said because He has always done what He said. You have taken a bold step of faith in obedience to God. When you think about what this means for the future of your team, the community, and even your church, does it fill you with confident assurance? That is faith! Or, are you filled with fear? Certainly, some fear is appropriate. New things can be scary. But, like courage, faith is not the absence of fear, it is continuing on in spite of the fear. That is confident assurance. And that is Faith!
