Your ministry, project, or community connection will begin next week. May the Lord be with you and your team as you step out in this great new, God-guided adventure of Faith! Over the last week of this devotion, we will look at the early church of the New Testament and their perseverance in their faith. Before the writer of Hebrews introduces us to great people of the faith, he quotes from Habakkuk, who told the ancient Israelites their righteousness did not come from how hard they worked but because of the faith they placed in God. Because of this, “We are not like those who turn away,”. I pray that is true of you and your team as well. As you step out in faith today, it can be the beginning of a wonderful new chapter, but it is another chapter in the greatest story of faith - the story of those who did not turn away.
