WHY THIS MATTERS

At Hope Church NW, we believe every post is more than just a picture; it’s a chance to share Hope. Social media is one of the best ways to reach people who may never step foot in a church until they see the light of Jesus shining through us online.

We’re looking for volunteers with a heart to serve, a creative spark, and a willingness to learn.

No experience required, just bring your cell phone, your passion, and we’ll help you with the rest!

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As part of the Social Media Team, you’ll help us share hope and tell the story of Hope Church NW online. Depending on your skills and interests, you might:

📸 Instagram / Facebook

  • Capture photos and short videos from Sunday services, worship, and events

  • Post encouragement, scripture, and church updates

  • Create story posts, reels, or simple graphics (we can provide resources)

  • Reply to comments and messages to help people feel seen and welcomed

  • Brainstorm creative ways to highlight people, ministries, and testimonies

🎥 YouTube

  • Upload weekly sermons to our YouTube channel

  • Edit short clips for YouTube Shorts or repurpose them for Instagram

  • Write simple video titles, descriptions, and tags so people can find our content

  • Organize playlists (sermons, testimonies, special events)

💡 General Support

  • Work with pastors and leaders to plan upcoming content

  • Share fresh ideas for reaching our city through digital ministry

  • Learn new skills in social media and digital storytelling (training provided!)
