Passage of the Day: Matthew 13:18-23

Thoughts to consider: Directly after the parable, Jesus explains its meaning. In reality, the three cultures interact with one another. We cannot begin to change ourselves without effecting those around us. Jesus did not simply focus on the problems of the soils, but rather he lead his disciples to know the purpose of the scattered seed; “to produce some 30, 60, and 100 times as much as had been planted.” While taking this journey of 100 days to Zero, the purpose is the same. To have a heart of fertile soil so that you will able to receive the seed (Word of God) and live a life that produces 30, 60, or 100 fold for the Kingdom of God. 

How can we start making a shift in the culture of our hearts? What does it look like to have a heart of fertile soil? Can you imagine being someone who God uses to produce 100 times what He plants within you?
